Vidyanjali Montessori Training Institute is conducting “Psycho Mathematics”, a workshop on teaching Mathematics for the teachers teaching 1st to 4th standards on 4th and 5th Feb. 2012. Mathematics in general is considered to be a complicated subject, which is hard to digest. It is taught, in schools at an abstract level, without any connection to the practical world. Dr Montessori has developed a unique way of teaching mathematics through activities which is popularly known as “Psycho Arithmetic” and “Psycho Geometry”. The workshop Psycho Mathematics and is aimed at helping the teachers to  understand the basics of both Arithmetic and Geometry as designed by Dr Maria Montessori.
